This book is intended to serve as a practical microstrip and printed antenna design guide to cover various real-world applications. All Antenna projects discussed in this book are designed, analyzed and simulated using full-wave electromagnetic solvers.   An exceptional book on antenna design. It is very design oriented, easy to read and does not contain long derivations of anything - the stuff we antenna designers would skip anyway. The book deals with basic theory (of course), basics of numerical methods, arrays and array synthesis, all the basic radiator types, and phased arrays.

"The Practical Antenna Design Handbook" by Joe Carr PointMan had mentioned this book in another post, Is this a good book to read if you are just starting out? (not knowing alot about the subject) The ARRL books have been mentioned also. I am looking to learn about "home brew" antennas, and antenna theory in general. The handbook will widely cover not only all key antenna design issues but also fundamentals, issues related to antennas (transmission, propagation, feeding structure, materials, fabrication, measurement, system, and unique design challenges in specific applications).
